Carbon Finance
Climate Neutral Group is keen to establish contact with you if you wish to start up or are in de process of developing a new project in the field of renewable energy (wind, solar, water, biomass) energy efficiency or waste to energy.
It is often challenging to arrange financing for these types of projects. Climate Neutral Group may be able to help you in the following two ways:
• By developing the underlying carbon asset with you (this includes assessing the project’s feasibility for carbon credits, prepare the necessary documentation, organize for independent auditors and registration of the project at the relevant authorities);
• By directly purchasing the issued or soon to be issued carbon credits on competitive terms, thereby providing your project with an additional source of revenue.
Climate Neutral Group only invests in projects in developing countries, giving priority to those in Africa and Least Developed Countries (LDCs). We are currently not including any further forestry projects in our portfolio. Please note that we do not fund projects in the Netherlands nor in the EU.

Purchasing of carbon credits
Climate Neutral Group purchases carbon credits directly from project developers provided that they satisfy the following conditions:
- Voluntary market credits (VERs) from Gold Standard and VCS projects
- Compliance market credits (CERs) from small-scale CDM projects
- Recent vintages (from 2007)
- Forward purchases – delivery not later than 2011
